I want to customize a Marlin model 60 and need ...
the resources and contact sites to find the parts for stocks, triggers, accessories, etc. Any help is appreciated.

You might try Brownells, they have a large on-line presence with a catalog and DIY videos.
Also try the Rimfire Central site where many enthusiasts congregate. I've got a lot of first rate information from them when working on my own guns.
You would be a lot better off by customizing a Ruger 10-22 though. Way more stuff is available then for a Model 60.0 -
Have to agree with Rufe on the 10/22.
I know some folks swear by the 60, but in my experience (about a dozen 10/22's and half that many 60's) when a 60 breaks, it's time to throw it away. Junk inside, IMHO. The Rugers don't break. And again, there is a ton of aftermarket stuff to hang on a 10/22. You can turn it into a mini-bench gun, assault rifle, etc. etc. 'til the cows come home.
The 60? Not so much. [:D]0 -
If your model 60 is modern with the birch stocks then there are aftermarket stocks available for them. If it is an old rifle with walnut stocks, enjoy it and leave it as is. Walnut stocks for model 60's are difficult to locate these days. It is pleasant to look at and expensive to buy. Also if has dovetail mounts, adding optics could be a nice choice. Best 0 -
Thanks for the 10/22 advise and I agree with all said regarding it. I have 10/22's but also have 2 Marlin 60's that I would like to improve, especially the trigger as I find the triggers really lousy and needing vast improvement. I am principally looking for maximizing the rifle's accuracy. Rimfire Central has provided some good advise. 0
