Any one familiar with a Stoeger firearm ? How are they made ? Solid and flexible ?

  Stoeger doesn't make guns, Stoeger distributes guns.
  Some of their guns are made in Brazil, some in Turkey. Maybe elsewhere. What are you looking at?
  
  The only current Stoeger SxS shotgun I know of is the Uplander/Coach Gun series made in Brazil. They are solid utility grade shotguns, nothing fancy but they shoot. Very popular in CAS because they are cheap, sturdy, come without ejectors as required by the rules, and can be smoothed up for faster easier operation.

  We have 3 Stoeger SxS here-20,28,and 410. All seem to be solid shooters but new ones require some breakin before getting comfortable to open and close. I've had several compliments on the 28 which has a straight grip and blonde wood. Mine haven't had a lot of use but the 28 goes pheasant hunting on the annual bird farm hunt. It's not a handicap on the pen raised birds over a decent dog.

  Stoeger Lugers were specially selected and refurbished.
  Later they imported Aya shotguns and Llama pistols that had a mixed reputation.
  Stoeger also imported Mannlicher rifles and carbines that were very well made.

  I have a side by side .410 that I use rabbit hunting. I have had no problems with it Has been very reliable.

  I have a Stoeger Uplander Supreme Combo with the interchangeable 12 ga. 20 ga barrels. It comes equipped with interchangeable choke tubes in Imp. Mod. Full. I use it for everything from Doves to Ringnecks and do some crow shooting also.. It is a single trigger non select. It shoots great, looks great, functions flawlessly and has never failed to do anything I ask of it.
  Id purchase it with out hesitation again ..
  
  PS Benelli now has a hand in the company and has upped the quality yet again.
