Python DOM

I know this question has been asked a zillion times but anyone know the appx. DOM on a Python with s.n. K30xxx?

  I just purchased a blue 4"bbl Colt Python. It appears to have never been fired but does display a slight turn ring. Can DOM be determined by ser #? 39574E, Is this considered a 2nd or 3rd generation gun?. It is in a Colt hard plastic blue box, is this correct? And finally, I walked out the door with it for $900 cash.
  I forgot to add that it has Pachmayr grips with Colt emblems, but I do not believe these to be original to the gun. Were any Pythons shipped with these grips?

  A call to Colt will get you the DOM. You can also try proofhouse.com

  proofhouse.com, is better than most of the factories info, just C&P proofhouse.com and you will find more info there than anywhere else.
