Stuck Safety On Browning 380 BDA
I talked about this weapon here before and got good information on the ammo to use in it. I want to thank everyone for their help. I bought this for my wife. She can not take it off of safety with one hand. It is very hard almost as if it were stuck. I have field stripped and cleaned it and their are rub marks on the safety "barrel" Should I try to polish the rub area? It is the nickel finish.
Has anyone had and solved this problem? It has had only a little over 50 shots through it so far but she doesn't want to shoot it because working the safety hurts her thumb.
Suggestions?

There's a safety spring and detent ball that can stick.. Usually smooths up with use, but that can take awhile.. Also hard on the thumb..

Not a real DIY, unless you know what to do.. My opinion, it's best to let a gunsmith take a look..0 -
My blue one was like that when I first got it.
I lubed it with a good gun oil and sat down and worked it untill it loosened up.0
