CVA .45 CAL MUZZLELOADER

Hey all, my brother was cruising around Amish Country in Ohio and came across a CVA .45 cal muzzleloader serial # 009407 that appears to be in good condition. Any idea when it was made and it's worth?

  In my area that gun would sell in the $50 - $60 range. Everyone here wants an inline.

  I think he said they were asking $175 for it...seems kinda high to me though. 'Course I'm not an expert on muzzleloaders either.

  I'd say way too much. You can buy a new scoped inline for that price.

  If it doesn't say Thompson Center on it, then it is best to leave it where you saw it.
