32 rimfire question
I may have a chance tomorrow to purchase some 32 rimfire ammo. I know it is like finding hens teeth but I really don't know what to offer the guy. He thought he had 5 boxes of 50. Thanks for any suggestions.

Is it old and in correct boxes or is it the 'reproduction run" of the 1990"s??
The condition of the old boxes makes old ammo worth more. And what .32 is it??

I won't know until tomorrow. He couldn't remember and I am thinking it might be the canadian stuff. He made reference to it being CC rifle ammo. He has 25 caliber rimfire as well. I am just hoping he can find it. His memory wasn't the best. He was also going to show me an old rifle he had, again no details, he said fired 43 egyptian rounds. Said it had a 2 shot magazine. I'd like to see it as well. 0 -
What it is worth also depends on what you are going to do with it. If you are a collector it is one thing. If you are looking for ammo to shoot it is another matter and you want the latest production you can get. The Navy Arms stuff is the newest while not necessarly the best for shooting. I bought some of it when SOG was selling it for $25 a box to shoot. It is bringing $50 now but there is supposed to be a new production run coming. If you want ammo to collect the sky is the limit and you had best know the market unless you can get it really cheap. 0 -
Thanks gentlemen I have been looking at completed auctions and older threads on this subject and I suspect I will be looking at the newer production stuff but first the guy has to find it. If he and I connect tomorrow I'll post the results. 0
