winchester 70 pre 64 375 h&h
Looking to get some help on the value of this gun,it has a custom stock that I have never seen with a bear carved in it. Also how can I upload pictures of it? Thanks

I sold one in 1993 for just under $2000. It was a factory original rifle in mint condition.
I suspect the custom stock/carving will reduce value rifle would otherwise have.0 -
A custom stock on that gun hurts the value alot. Has the metal been customized at all? 0 -
There where 14,005 pre 64 model 70s chambered in 375 H&H, as has been pointed out, good ones bring a good price. Good means ORIGINAL, anything that is not as it came from Winchester is a big minus factor.
As Todd asked, has anything been done to the metal? Reblued, engraved, magna ported? If the metal is original a factory stock can maybe be found. No mater how nice or artful an embelishmen to the rifle is, not being original detracts from value.
