in need of a browning 22 expert

i have a 1968 browning nomad, and i just picked up a 1969 brushed satin nomad, it has the P in the ser number so it falls into the nomad model.

i cant find any with a brushed satin option for the nomad. it is finished all over even the mag and the grip screw are in satin

any body know anything about this old gun or would you know of another site i can ck out.

  Nice looking gun, but my 2? is that it's a aftermarket refinish. Looks like it has what is called a electroless nickel finish. I've owned a couple of Challengers over the years, and have had the opportunity to handle a bunch of the Nomads and Metalists. Seen them engraved with gold filling and other special finishes, never electroless nickel like yours though.

  I don't recall ever seeing a nickel plated Browning that did not have a gold plated trigger.
