Center Mass
I have a real problem when shooting my Glock 22. It seems that no matter what I do I shoot lower and to the left of the bull eye. I do not have this problem with my Beretta 92fs. I need all the help I can get in how I correct this problem. Thanks all.

Probably the trigger, stock Glocks come with crummy 8 LB triggers. Lone Wolf Distributors is a big net outfit that specializes in Glock aftermarket accessories. Check them out. They sell what is called a 3 1/2 LB connector that really helps the Glock trigger pull. There made by Glock and you can install them yourself. Glocks are a piece of cake to work on, very used friendly. 0 -
I spent half the morning working with a guy on this.
He was not only pushing against the recoil and yanking the mystery trigger, he was taking too much finger through the guard and torquing the gun even when he didn't jerk.
Lots of dryfire and getting somebody to run ball and dummy drills with you will help.0 -

Something that helped me when shooting the Glock was to learn to shoot from the reset. After the first shot you don't have to completely release the trigger. If you learn to let it ease out just a little you will feel it 'reset'. Shooting from this point gives the gun more of a single action feel. It takes a bunch of practice to learn to do it quickly but it definitely helps keep the shots on target.0 -
Thanks for all the help. As I try to scope in on my problem all of you mention the trigger. There is a much firmer trigger on the Glock than the Beretta and when I dryfire I notice a slight movement with the Glock. Is this because of the grip or finger. 0 -

First of all , we see this with many , many makes and models ! If you are consistantly shooting "off" and it is NOT a Mechanical Problem with thes firearm , Then You (the shooter are doing something !)!
Secondly , snowruf : Get your facts straight : Glocks come factory w-a 5.5 trigger pull (and not that crummy) ! Get it right !

ABC, I am not faulting Glock for my errant shooting. I need to understand what I am doing wrong to better protect myself and others if the need arises. My question was for self improvement using my new weapon. 0 -

It is mostly your technique, you need to refine. Practice dry firing, by balancing a nickle flat on your front sight and balancing it. When you can keep the nickle balanced thru the complete trigger pull, including when the striker release, your problem will be solved.

Not all Glocks come with a 5 lb trigger. Yes, comparatively speaking, the trigger pull is crummy, and a piece of BS, compared to other DA's. I am surprised, you being a Glock armorer, and all, you do not know this...get YOUR FACTS straight!
