For Bert - what single-shot rifles are chambered for these cartridges ?

I understand possibly the 1885 High Wall ???

Any others, regardless of manufacturer ?

  For the record, I own a 1885 Winchester High wall in 40-60 wcf, but it was originally introduced for the 1876 Winchester lever. As far as these calibers in other manufacturers guns...I cant help you if they don't start with a big red "W"

  The larger Marlin Ballard single-shot rifles may have also been chambered for those cartridges.
