Enfield converted GRI/RFI 1949 410 shotgun

I found an Enfield RFI looks like canverted from a 303 to 410 single shot Full wood upper and lower.Very nice condition.Has a Crown GRI then looks like crossed flags under P. 410 RFI 1949 Has a tag with stamped numbers attached around the trigger guard.

Does anyone have info. on History/Value. It is a very neat conservation piece.I can send pictures if it could help.I don't know how to send pics. here on this site but I can send them to your E-Mail address.

  They were converted in India from worn-out rifles, reportedly for hunting or guard duty with buckshot. They were rechambered for a blown-out, tapered .303 case. This chamber will not accept an American .410 shell. However, they can be rechambered for a regular .410 shotgun shell.

  They are known as Ishipores. Every one I have owned has cycled and fired standard American 410 just fine. Best
