does anyone have any info on a star leader .410 sxs. maybe who the manufacturer is. maybe a parts source? thanks for your time, Mike

  The gun is what is known as a "Trade Brand Name" shotgun. Between 1890 and 1940 three was a great interest in all things having to do with shotguns. Wholesaler and retail dealers and independent sellers wanted shotguns with names of their own choosing to sell. The major makers were only to happy to meet this demand. These guns are commonly referred to as "Trade Brand Name"guns. Guns with the name STAR LEADER were made by the Crescent Fire
  Arms Company of Norwich,CT (1892 to1931) for and were sold by the Hibbard Spencer Bartlett Company of Chicago,IL a wholesale sporting goods dealer. Since Crescent has been out of business for over eighty years,there are no off the shelf parts.You can try the major gun parts dealers like Gun Parts Inc., Popperts GunParts or Jack First Inc. Sometimes they will have a required part. Or you can surf the various gun and gun parts auction sites like Gun Broker for parts or parts guns for sale.
