Purchasing Nambu Handgun from Hawaii?

The rules of the game will be exactly the same. You bid on the pistol and when you win it you are required to provide the seller (the person you won the pistol from) with a Federal Firearms License from dealer who will accept the gun for you in Hawaii. In most cases it will be the dealer who sends the license and you will never see a copy. Once the dealer has the pistol the purchase procedure is going to be exactly the same as if the gun originated in his shop. The sole exception to this would be in the case of a Curio and Relic firearm which can be (in most cases) shipped directly to a person who holds a Curio and Relics License. Before you even think about bidding make very sure that you have a firearms dealer lined up in Hawaii who will accept the pistol and transfer it to you.

I was afraid of that, but it makes sense. Looks like I may have to wait a while before picking up a Nambu. Doh!!! Thank you for your help...

I would call a dealer near where you are moving. The NAMBU is a CURIO so it can ship direct to a C&R Lic. holder in most states ask the dealer in Hawaii about C&R items.
