    I have sold more than a dozen, and carried one for a while...All in .45 cal.. Excellent pistol, no complaints...Leave the aftermarket magazines alone and use factory stuff...

    I've sold some. Zero customer complaints. I like the pistols personally.
    BUT. Factory support sucked for me. I ordered some spare magazines for a customer, including the serial number of the handgun. They sent the wrong ones and tried to give some double talk about it being my fault. 'Course I could send them back at my expense plus a restocking fee.
    That hit my hot button, so my biggest mistake was telling them what I thought.
    Ran into the EAA display at Shot Show about three years ago; the rep was real nice. "Oh your new mags are in the mail".
    Still haven't seen them.
    No more EAA for me or anybody I know.

    They get no respect on the used gun market. With the exception of fancy new models, they are difficult to resell at any price.

    Without getting into details, I had the same experience.

    a. Guns themselves are excellent, and the easy caliber conversion is a nice plus.

    b. EAA customer support is suboptimal.

    I have an older model that was imported by FIE, before EAA. Its just a TZ-75 9mm and its my favorite pistol. I've shot more than 50,000 rounds and no clue how many my father and previous owners before that. It is showing wear at the front edges where the slide and body make contact. I think it needs a new spring to buffer the recoil a bit more. It has never jammed and it shoots true.

    I have debated buying a newer model just to get all the conversions to go with it.

    I have 2, one in .40cal and .45. For the money they are as good as any pistols out there.

    I had a 10mm steel frame Witness. The factory Hi Cap mags took some breaking in before they were 100% on the range.

    Gun was the heaviest pistol I owned. Made my 1911's feel light weight in a holster.

    Once broken in the gun shot decently. I was planning on selling it till I realized I had some 500rds of 10mm. Took an afternoon and shot it all up. Actually got pretty good with it.

    If you are shopping a price point. The sky is the limit on other used name brand guns (CZ, Sig, Beretta, Glock, Browning, Springfield, etc) out there at the same price or less.

    If you are shopping 10mm not much selection available out there.

    As it happens, after owning one for a year or so I finally took it to the range and was very, very happy with the accuracy and function. Shot point of aim with 115 and 124 FMJ, casual "kerplinking" at 15 yds got well centered ping pong ball sized groups. I'll admit I was a bit of a "CZ snob" but I very much like this gun.

    The one I bought started life as a 41 AE and sat in a local gun case for at least 5 years before I finally bought it for $199.00. Dropped in a 9mm barrel and all is well, I'll shoot the AE only once in a while.
