What is a force gage?
I got a bunch of S&W pistol gunsmithing tools at an estate sale, one of which is a Wagner Instruments - Force Dial FDK20 "push-pull force gage". It would be considered new (old stock). In fact, all of the tools are new, unused. See link below for Wagner's webpage on this gage - Model FDK20.
What is a force gage like this used for? Could it be used to weigh trigger pull?

Thanks in advance for your replies and help.

That is a very nice trigger pull measuring device. {among other uses} 0 -
BillSoTx,
It can be used for trigger pulls, and with the right adaptors for measuring spring rates, both which would help when doing trigger work of any type.

Neal,
I heard the more fiber you eat, the easier it is to open those panic doors....[:D][:D][:D]0 -
If I had one, I'd use it to measure the force necessary to open panic hardware on exit doors. Without one, I just have to take a SWAG.
