Approximate value of carbine receiver?

I'm not sure about the value of an Inland receiver. The CMP was selling barreled receivers for $125 plus shipping. Yours being a low serial number is probably worth at least $150 to $200.

The ATF will go by the marking on the receiver as to whether or not they consider it a machine gun. If the receiver is stamped M2 in any fashion (many 2s were stamped over the 1s at rebuilt) then it is always and forever a class 3 item.

Good luck. I hope this helps.

Inland was assigned SN blocks as high as 6M, 7M, & 8M.

A 6 digit Inland receiver is common & rates no premium.

Receiver sales are not often seen, as the high cost of parts now makes building your own carbine more expensive than buying a used one on GB. Be sure you can return any receiver you buy, as it IS possible to ruin one.
