I have a model 16 Savage 243 cal. syn. stock, stainless action and barrel. It is topped with a Simmons Aetec 2.8x10x44. The gun and scope are in excellent condition. It is a left handed action. What can I expect/ask for this gun. Thanks for your input. [8D]

    Welcome to the forum.
In my neck of the woods; maybe 350 to 600 if you found the right buyer. A nice piece, but I doubt it has any significant collectors value. You may want to search completed auctions to see if you can find similar guns that have sold in the past year or so.
    Good luck.

Have you recently removed it from the case to see if the lining of the case has damaged the finish?

Usually these are advertised and sold using the name of the US importer/distributor who originally sold them. Is their any markings on either on the revolver or the case denoting this?

The Belgian made cap and ball replicas are relatively uncommon. They were excellent quality. But were soon priced out of the market by the Italian made ones, which were able to be sold much less expensively. Generally they date to the early 60's at the latest.
