Mailing Black Powder Guns

Can a B.P. gun be mailed from one person to another through the Postal Service? Thanks.

  Under 12.1-G, does that mean that the BP can be mailed or not? I can't tell if they can or can't.

  You must have a FFL to ship using USPS.If you have a FFL you can ship , if not then no.

  Anyone can mail modern "long" guns through USPS.
  Handguns have to go through an FFL to ship USPS.
  
  Unless it is black powder, then it is....if, but, maybe, depends, etc.
