U.S. Revolver Co. gun

I have a US Revolver gun, it is a long barrel 38, 5 shot automatic. The serial # is 99633, can you tell me the date it was manfactored.

  More info is needed to date your revolver:
  
  (1) Is it a solid frame type (does not break open and loads from right side) or a top break model that opens and ejects the cartridges?
  
  (2) The "real" serial number will be on the grip frame under the left grip plate and may have a letter prefix.
  
  Answer above and I can date it from the late Bill Goforth's Iver Johnson book. (The U.S. brand revolvers were made by I.J.)
  
  I.J. advertised their top break revolvers as "Safety Automatic" the automatic apparently a reference to the auto ejection.
