Use orange paint. Walmart sells neon orange acrylic paint in their hobbies department, for a couple of bucks. I use it all the time on my front sights. It's very durable and doesn't come off easily.

You paint the end of the Beretta's barrel with this paint, I'll guarantee that the badge boys wont be kicking in your door at 6 AM and hauling you off to the slammer.

Will that affect the resale value at all?

As long as the end of the barrel is painted orange, your good to go.

Sweet, I appreciate your time. I had no idea those orange plugs were so hard to come by. I should have asked the photographer to save it.

Pick up a pack of those bright orange ear plugs at Walmart and glue one in the end of the barrel.

I wonder how many bad guys have painted the end of their barrels orange in the hope it might give them an advantage in a gun fight?

I suggest you go to the hardware store and look for orange electrical tape or some other type of orange tape.

Then carefully and neatly cut a piece of it to stick to the front end of the gun so it looks "professionally" done.

Aside from that, I would say the tip for using paint was good. However, I would brush the paint on rather than spray it on.
