Mauser 1914 Pocket Pistol date

I just obtained a Mauser 1914 pocket pistol with a relatively low serial number - 619XX. its a .32 (7.65x17mm) i cant find anything on the internet to date the weapon. i suspect its probably around a 1915 or 1916 but id really like to narrow it down and confirm its year of production. anyone know the serial number ranges per production year?

  The First World War Mauser pocket pistols generally will have German military acceptance markings on the top of the slide behind the rear sight. If yours doesn't have theses markings it would probably predate the First World War which started in 1914. My understanding is both the .25 and .32 Mauser pistols were numbered in the same serial number range starting with the .25, which was known as the Model 1910. As these were very well made and popular pistols it's not a stretch to believe that over 60,000 were made between 1910 and 1913.

  it does have the stamp behind the rear sight (two crowns over a U).

  The military acceptance stamp I'm referring to is a German Fraktur, (old alphabet), letter underneath a Crown. The Crown "U" you mentioned is a standard German commercial proof mark.
