Parts for Bernardelli Semi-Auto shotgun

a friend of mine has a Verona labeled SX801 Trap gun. For what it is, it is really pretty nice shooting. However, the bolt handle/cocking handle broke, and he is in search of another one...or 2, or 3, or 4 for spares. I have been all over the web, to no resolve. Does anyone know where I can get part #84 in the diagram below?

  No one else have any info? I have sent an e-mail to the manufacturer, but have heard NOTHING back.

  It looks a lot like a 1100 Remington, perhaps looking into modifying a charging handle from one of those, there are 2 kinds. Slightly different.
  Worst case have one made?

  If you have the two parts have them TIG welded. It would then be stronger than the original part.

  The Bernadelli family split the business a few years back. I can't tell you who handles what now. Some of their shotguns were made in Turkey, but your 801 was made in Italy.
