S&W Model 34-1 in 22lr

I am in need of a Gas Ring for a S&W Model 34-1 in 22 lr. I have checked Numrich and Brownells. Any other suggestions will be appreciated.

    Not familiar with such a part for a S&W revolver. Perhaps you can describe the problem that you are trying to correct.

    EDIT: OK, I think I've figured this out. Some J-frames do not have the gas ring (M642,M640,M649,M60,M36,M37,M38,M40). The M31 & M34 take a special ring; the M63,M650,M651,M640,M632 take a different ring. A 3rd type is used on titanium revolvers, & this type must be staked in place. But, sorry Don, if Brownells & Numrich don't have the one you need (Part #052450000), you may have to check the auctions & buy a complete cylinder/crane assembly.

    Not sure where you got "gas ring" from, but like Neal says, I can assure you that revolver does not have one.

    I stand corrected. There is a gas ring, as they call it. Most of us call it a cylinder pin bushing.

    MRTDRT & dcs shooters, Well, you guys have taught me something. I have owned a .22/32 Kit Gun since 1955 and didn't know it had a gas ring.

    I have been told that the "Gas Ring" for the S&W Model 34-1 is better known as a "Cylinder Pin Bushing". The one that Brownell shows is for a 32, and I am not sure that it would fit the 22. I am guessing though that the pin would be the same size on both the 32 and the 22. If any of you have any thoughts along that line, please let me know. Or if you know of another source,please advise. THANX!! Don

    The Brownell,s part number I posted twice is for all model 34,s-43,s-63,s. It fit all the J frame 22,s [;)]
