Did S&W make a revolver chambered in 30 cal? I can't find one in Fjestad.

I am looking for someone to put a cylinder stop in a s&w top break 32 the gun is in top shape otherwise any know of anyone that can do this. no gunsmith close to me will do it. 0 -
Your revolver was made during W W II. It was made for sale to England for their military forces. Collectors call these revolvers "Victory Models" Since yours was refinished and reworked after the end of the war it's value has been severally affected. Sight unseen per your description probably in the $150-$250 range.
EDIT #1, This is a photo off the net of a factory original Smith & Wesson "Victory Model". Compare it to yours.

That appears to be the revolver except the front sight is a long flat grooved sight with a post. What would the value have been if not plated and I guess the grips are just an after market set. Kind of cowboy looking grips. 0 -
Also there is no laynard attachment on but appears to have a place that was filled plugged. 0 -

There's two flavors of Victory Models. The ones made for our guys were in 38 Special. The 38 S & W made for the Brits is a different noninterchangeable cartridge. My WAG is that factory original .38 S & W Victory Model would be in the $350-$450 range.0
