Anaconda Grips
Looking for some advice: I have several Anacondas and King Cobras. Here is where I show my novice experience. All of them have the black pachmyer factory grips. However, today I just picked up another Anaconda and I could not get the grips tightened up. The screw is stripped out. Then I notice the colt name on it? The difference in this grip versus the other is that it has a colt insignia type flag near the bottom [not the medallions] Is this possibly stipulated by the year manufactured ?
Also, why do my King Cobras all have the Gold medallion and my Anacondas have silver ?
Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate your feedback.

The silver medallions on an Anaconda are because the gun is stainless, it's supposed to match.
As far as the grip screw is concerned, check to make sure the eschutchen (sp) isn't lose. Thats the little round part the screw screws into on the other grip. If it's turning in the grip it won't tighten.

Thanks CapnMidnight ! But ... one of King Cobras is bright stainless and the others are satin stainless and they are all gold ??
And yes, I just checked and it is the part that the screws that goes into that turns, damn .... grips aren't cheap. How do I find the kind with the colt name and banner on them ?0 -
