I NEED SUGESTIONS HOW TO IMPROVE TRIGER PULL.

  Parts drop right in yielding a crisp under-3lb pull with overtravel stop, and the 10-22 trigger is about as simple to work on as they come.

  Now, if you really don't want to spend much money, and if you're CAREFUL and PATIENT, you can take apart the trigger, stone the hammer/sear engagement surfaces, drill and tap the trigger and install a set screw to control after-travel, and you can also polish and radius the return plunger to get a smoother feel.
  
  You can find instructions on how to do these things on the internet, and maybe even a You Tube video.
  
  For *me* its not worth my time and effort messing with stoning sears and tapping holes when good drop-in aftermarket parts are readily available, but if you're handy and have the time and interest, I think you can get a pretty good result here.

  Every outdoors/shooting reatailer under the sun probly has about 3-4 different brands or trigger assemblies to sell for the Ruger 10/22. Very customizable gun!

  RUGER is responsible for more after market "improvments" than any other company I can think of.
  You can spend more on mods than you do the gun.[:D]

  Before you spend a bunch of money (unless you really want to) try the following:
  1. Drill/tap a hole in the face of the factory trigger and install an overtravel screw.
  2. Try a set of Wolfe springs.
  This will make a huge difference and from there you can decide if you want to invest in a Volquartsen or similar combination of triggers, hammers, sears, shims, oversized pins, etc.

  I just got one of the Timney drop in's. It replaces the hammer, sear, and trigger. Otherwise, it uses everything else that came with your gun. It was around $120.00 all said and done. It is a big improvement, but nothing like the JARD total drop in my friend has.
