Sorry about posting my CC question on the wrong forum, didn't even think about it. Just a rookie mistake and I didn't mean to cause such an uproar.

I've been here for nine years and we have been answering firearms law question in this forum since day one. The staff here makes the call on what is considered to be an acceptable topic for discussion and this is based on what the posting guidelines dictate as well as what, it any, other forums may be better suited to handling the question; an example being the reloading forum where our opposite numbers are always encouraging us to move reloading question into their forum. We operate here under the benevolent leadership of Capt. Kirk, who is our forum administrator and has the final word on anything that goes on here in Ask The Experts. Until the good Capt. says that no firearms law questions are going to be allowed then there is no reason to stop them...I in fact happen to like firearms law question! I apologize that your stand on gun rights was questioned for no reason and I hope that you continue to post here in our forum.

I understand posting your question regarding CC either in the General Discussion Forum or here in the Ask the Experts Forum.

There is nothing wrong with the "caliber" of your question. [?]

The responses had to do with the "caliber" of one (or more of) the respondants. [:(]

Very reasonable question, that deserved reasonable responses. [^]

( Stick around, not all of the folks around here have trouble looking themself in the mirror in the morning ... most get along well with real people. )

( If you email me, I have a suggestion or two for you. )

    FIXED IT [;)]

No need for appologies; you were no where near out of line. This is a forum dedicated to the edification of those wishing such, and a poke at your "lack of knowledge" pretty much contradicts the whole premise involved in this or any other information forum. Like most any other forum I have ever read or been involved with, there are a few holier than thou types who enjoy flouting their "superior" knowledge and in reality do nothing other than reveal thier own ignorance , and in this case intolerance as well.
To Fox and a few others out there, give these people a break. If I were well enough versed in firearms laws that I did not need to ask anybody about them, I would be only too happy to illuminate others. We need allies guys, not people so turned off by the flippant remarks of a few judemental members they begin to believe the hysterical crap proferred up by the liberal media. We are not, as a group, a bunch of soapbox mounting screamers, just a group of guys and gals dedicated to retaining the right to own guns and the opportunity to learn from the history of them.

EDIT#1: Just so you know, the endorsement below is ALL you need to know you are justified in your line of question...the Captain oversees this whole thing and his word IS, quite literally law. Please come back and post any time Mackcrane, there are those here who WILL help.
