looking for info/data on old small revolver. marked"uncle henry",
no. 38 (presumably cal). single action, spur trigger. HEAVILY engraved all over (frame , bbl, cyl, grip. no photo capability, will be happy for guess

  Sight unseen it's probably whats known as a "Suicide Special". These were inexpensive, mediocre quality, personal protection handguns. Many different manufacturers made and sold this type of revolver during the late 19th Century, circa 1870's/1880's. The same basic revolver was sold under many different names, depending on the requirements of the manufacturer, distributor and retailer. I can't find any reference to a Uncle Henry in my books though.

  Sounds interesting, and need photos as most were smaller, .32s or .22s.
