Winchester 42?

Does anyone know for sure what the length of the butt stock is on a Winchester Model 42 without the butt plate or were more than one length offered. Thanks

  Pre-war LOP was 14". Post war was 13 3/4 including hard rubber butt plate.

  -Thanks for the info. I should have checked mine before I posted. I did after and it is post war and the LOP was 13 3/4 which makes the wood 12 1/2 appx. without the plate.
