Colt SP1 Serial Number

I acquired a Colt AR15 today, Model SP1, but cannot locate a listing for the serial number. Can someone help? "Ser SP111XXX".

  I traded it for a Sig 556 that I bought a couple of years ago. I've never liked the 556. Don't know why. And I'm happy any time I can get an additional AR15, especially a classy one like the SP1.

  When you go on the biggerhammer site, click on AR15/M16 FAQS.
  Then go to Colt Serial numbers and Prefixes.
  Scroll down to the SP serial numbers.
  Yours is listed below 1978 with SP 360200 and below.

  Just curious and if you don't mind my asking, how much do you have in the SP1?
  
  I bought one in the very early 1980's - very lightly used colt sp-1, 6 or 8 colt mags, bayonet sling, scoped w/3x4x40 for $200 out the door. I understand they are going for considerably more these days.
  I believe it was an excellant investment. [8D]
  
  
  It is a might bit better than the bank or stock market. NFA transferrable items in the Class III category are also excellent investments, if you live in an area that will allow it.
