Sight unseen as previous poster noted is a impossible call as far as value is concerned.
That said, any modern hunting rifle @ 80% would be classified as a "shooter". Definitely not a big buck item unless it was gold plated and inlayed with pave diamonds.0 -
Pictures are good but more info such as serial number, model, type of stock, blue or stainless will help. I'm curious about caliber too; 308 magnum? There aren't a lot of 308 "magnums" so what do you have? If you're talking about an older Ruger 77 in 308 Win with the usual wear and handling marks the value is probably in the $400 range. But that's just a guess based on the 77 being one of the most common Ruger models. 0 -

80% would be a $450 maximum gun to ME. MSRP is $914 but I would imagine you could buy a new one like the one in the link for around $700 and other models even cheaper than that. As the others have said did you get the caliber correct?0 -
Perhaps he is refferring to 308 Norma Mag? Not sure if Ruger ever even chambered that, so it's just a thought. 0 -

You do realize that you are going to have to reload for this rifle , right ! The . 308 Magnum is a wildcat that I've never heard of , ergo no factory ammo available for it . What is the Parent Case ? 0 -
