Early Inland M1 Carbine photo's

Here are some close up photo's of the early all-correct Inland carbine I posted earlier. The bore is shiny with some micro scratches that follow the grooves. I measured the muzzle by inserting a USGI .30-06 M2 ball round into the barrel point down. I had about 3/16" of bullet exposed. That should mean about 3/4 life left in the barrel. Let me know if that method is BS. Would apprecite any estimates of value. The stock has been sanded and refinished. Thanks

  Inland was the most manufactured carbine and is quite common. Value is hurt with that sanded stock. I can see deep sanding gouges where someone tried removing the dents, and looks like the stock had a coat of poly put on.
  Basic value 400-450. The refinished stock is hurting value and collectors are not interested. Try and locate a replacement stock would be your best chance to bring up to an original look.
