just bought a 94 winchester #2,784,000 that i never seen before,the reciver is case hardened with a scrolled vine with flowers and a gold shell port.sorry no pic.all it says is win 94 30-30 and where it was made

It sounds like the 94 "Antique" model made from the mid-60's to the early 80's.

your right on,mine has the threded hole for the ring.is it possible to buy a ring? is there any value to the gun.

That is called the "Antique" model. I don't think they actually bring any more than a good used 94 would unless you find someone who really wants one like that.

As Winston said, value is about the same as a regular 94. The "Antique" finish was simply an option.
You can find replacement saddle rings but a brass one might be a bit harder to find.0
