Winchester Model 12- not ejecting shell

My model 12 does not eject the shell after cycling .The shell sits in the gun.Could this be the extractor.Thanks in advance.

  Could be a bent magazine cuttoff. Does it come out of the magazine tube?

  I use it for trap ,so one shell at a time,it worked fine for hundreds of rounds,then just stopped ejecting.I checked,it does not feed well from the magazine tube

  Feed well? Push you thumb up in the magazine, does it push back? Like Mr. Whiskey said, your spring might be bent or broken. Either way pretty easy fix.

  I've experienced the same issue with several model 12s. I fixed it by switching ammo brands. Some of the new manufacture, usually cheaper brands don't eject.
