Winchester Mod1903 part2
$450 would be within shooter value for a .22 that functions well, has a great bore, and not in beater condition
Except for the fact the ammo is pretty much non exsistant for it. It is not the 22 cal rimfire we have today but a total different round.
Found some for $75 box of 50

Makes sense to me too, however, when it books at or above $250.00 at 10% finish, and when one adds the refinish cost and whatever cost to finish the wood, some people will like the idea. As for me, I'd not buy it all, that said, I don't think I'd go so far as to use it as a tomato stake! lol
Added: What's fifty rabbits run on today's market?! [:o)]0 -
Since collecter status is gone, I wonder if you could bore it out and put a reliner in there and chamber for 22lr. Those reliner arent priced too bed and at least you could still get use out of it. 0
