Winchester 9mm Ammo
I just shot some Win 9mm 115 grn ammo that I purchased in a 100 round pack. The box is labelled target and plinking, but the bullet appears to have a brass finish and it leaves alot of unburned powder in the gun.
Has anyone else used this ammo? I called Winchester because of the amount of unburned powder and when I told them the color of the bullets, they requested I ship it back to them.

Hey guy's I bought a case of 500 rounds Winchester Ranger Ammo, I was told that it was great ammo, had awesome reviews.. I've fired 5 boxes of it so 250 rounds give or take, so far I've had 60 missfires, I've reloaded and tried again still with a secondary strke from the firing pin it wouldn't fire. All the winchester ammo I hae shot in the past has been 100% quality never had a missfire but this stuff is just horrible I was wondering if anyone knows the contact info for Winchester Customer Support? I went on their website and looked around and I couldn't find ANY contact info at all, so any help with this Would be greatly greatly appreciated. 0 -

I had problems with Winchester 9mm leaving a lot of unburned powder in the gun and called them. They asked I send it back and then sent me coupons to replace it. 0 -

Hey did they cover shipping or did you have to cover it? sending 15 pounds of ORMD stuff isn't cheap..0 -
I'd check on the firing pin, firing pin hole for build up, main spring might be weak. Unless the ammo was stored like crap and then you bought it but you stated "I've reloaded and tried again still with a secondary strke from the firing pin it wouldn't fire" don't sound like ammo but your ride. 0 -
Have you tried that ammo in a different 9mm pistol to see if you still get misfires? 0 -

What specific round and what sort of firearm are we talking about here? 0 -
One of the first steps in diagnosing problems like that is to eliminate the most obvious by trying the ammo in other guns. If you get the same rate of misfires, it is the ammo. If not, it is your gun. [:D] 0 -
A number of complaints about WWB 9mm on the web. Some good photos of really great quality control. NOT.
