Got a Nikon Monach red dot for my shotgun...
Features a varoable size dot 1/4/6/or 10 MOA dot selections.

This feature allows the dot to be sized down.

What is the MOA?

  How big the dot is at 100 yards. 1 MOA is about 1 inch at 100 yds, 5 MOA 5 inches at 100 yards, etc.

  MOA or minute of angle is 1/60 of a degree or 1.047 inches at 100 yards. For all practical purposes 1 inch @100 yds, 2 inches @200 etc.

  Thanks for that. The 1 setting looks small but better than the old scope that had no adjustment. Accuracy should be much better.
