Hawke bullets?

I assume you are referring to their cast bullets? I found them to be perfect for low velocity drilling metric calibers. They were soft enough to provide mushrooming at moderate velocities. Accuracy was great and leading low.

I don't know about Hawke but if it was Hawk, there was a fellow in Glenrock, Wyoming that made excellent bonded bullets many years ago.

I have used the Hawke brand for my 505 Kemp custom rifle - "experimental rifle with an experimental cartridge". Now where did I hear that before?
I got 2 styles (thinner and thicker) of copper jacket from him and 2 weights - 400 and 500 grain. Both shot great although there are no elefants in PA to try them on.
Hawke (Salem NJ) was extremely helpfull and his products are top notch. I will continue to do biz with him.
