reloading
I came into possession of a Pacific DL 150 reloader, but it came with no manual, so I have no Idea what order the shot shell must go thru in order to be reloaded, can someone with the same model or the knowledge help me.
Thanks

ok i have read threw the two pages here, didnt find what im looking for, if i go an buy a lee turrent kit, what else would i need beside the dies/powder/tumbler. to get this into operation. from watching the guys on you tube they dont use the little primer cleaner tool, unless they did that before making the videos. also i would buy a digitl scale for powder weigh ups. now i have searched, maybe not under the right keywords, but i have looked for the answers. 0 -
All of the major manufacturer's (Lee, RCBS, Hornady...) std dies will work with Hornady presses. Lock-n-load bushings let you screw your dies in and set them, then quickly remove/reinstall in press w/o changing settings. 0 -
I would assume that quick change bushing threads onto Std. dies. If it does not, I would steer clear of it myself.

THx for the info. been trying to order one, and that the another one of the problems, does it come with rings or is that extra????? does it come with base plate or is that also extra????? if it does, does one size fit all or do you have to purchase different plates for different cal. all these? I have tryed to find out but they are ethier closed when I call or the old gal on the other end does not know. 0 -
Are you looking to get a progressive for your first press? 0 -
No, I've been reloading for several years, just like to have something that would make it a little faster. 0 -

No internet orders as of yet for that model.0 -
so do you think it would be better to look for a different loader one that has been around awhile? 0 -
Ya know I saw one in my Midway catalog today. The Bushings look like they are screw on. I would call Hornady and confirm it. If so you should be good to go with your other dies.
Personally, the less parts the better. I would stick with the original
Lock and load.0 -
I have the Lee Breeck Lock which is similar. All standard thread dies screw into the bushings. Then the bushings have the quick changed thread(interuped thread that looks like a 3 flute tap). I like my press for the quick change ability, but I don't like the small wiggle that I see when I use the sizing or seating die.
I would think that Lee & Hornady probly make the bushings different so you have to buy their brand. If the thread on Hornady dies(I own none) are the same as everyone elses, you should have no problem
My 2 cents[^]0
