    Looks like your best source will be to search the completed auctions on GB and any other auction sites you can find. Those are the only real way to guestimate the value of a gun. All other sources are speculation. Good luck. [:D]

    It appears to be the third model, with small rounded brass trigger guard. The current Flayderman's Guide lists value in Good Condition as $900.

    it is not an 1851 navy, but a Colt 1849 31 caliber pocket model, probably five shot from what I can see, six inch barrel. In the condition shown, they seldom bring over 600.
