Will a remington 870 LW barrel fit on the remington 1100 LW.

No! An 1100 barrell has single or double gas ports whereas an 870 barrell has none! Do not even attempt to swap them. It could be disastrous!

Thanks for the Info. Been watching the auctions but no luck on a 1100 barrel.

IF the barrels fit (And I don't know that they do) why would the absence of gas ports be a disaster? The other way around (1100 barrel in an 870)I might see but it should mearly make it so that you would have to work the action manually.
