Seating the sear in marlin camp 9
So I took the trigger group apart in my marlin camp 9. Someone shaved the end off the sear. I can get it all back together but I think I'm supposed to seat a spring under the sear so it will always lift up and catch the hammer. I can't do that and honestly I don't know if I am doing it right at all. All this was unseen when I took the pins out. Is there anyone out there that knows how to do this?

Check with numerich gun parts or egun parts. They might have another sear. NOW as far as those pics go, that is one human being that fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. 0 -

FWIW Numrich Arms on line site often has a schematic that shows the parts and an exploded view of the firearm. Helped me out many times when I had a "which way does this fit" moment, I suspect others do the same. 0 -
Like a marlin model 60, assemble the parts on the sideplate W/O pins
using slave pins (nails of right diameter work fine) then Carefully!
slide slideplate with fixed pins threw the parts pushing out the slave pins. Be extremely carefull testing this puppy if you try using
that filed sear-- best to get a new one!!!
Luck with it, Wulfman0
