Can anyone shed some light on this gun and the value of a transferable one?

  It is hard to tell anything about the firearm in question, without good cloose up, and clear pictures. However, if thisis an actual fully legal, with paper's, transferrable Thompson, then we are looking at at least 5 digit figures, depending on condition.
