I have a few Belgium Browning A-5 20 guage barrels

Don't know what to expect to get out of them. Here are just a couple of them, and if anyone out there can give me some idea, that would be great:

20 guage, 3", 28" VR full choke, St. Louis & Montreal
20 guage, 3", 26" VR improved cylinder, Morg & Montreal
20 guage, 3", 26" VR full choke, St. Louis & Montreal
20 guage, 2 3/4", 28" VR modified, St. Louis & Montreal
20 guage, 2 3/4", 28" VR full choke, Morg & Montreal
20 guage, Jap, 22" VR w/ 3 chokes, New in box
20 guage, 3" buck, St. Louis & Montreal
20 guage, B2000 buck

All are in tip top shape. If someone can give me an idea of a value, and/or what one could expect to get for them, that would be great. I will probably try to list locally, but if anyone has a use or think they might bring enough, I would list them on the auction site.

My father owned a gun shop for 30+ years, and passed away unexpectedly 7 years ago. We liquidated most of the firearms, ammo and such on an auction. Turned everything over to the ATF, and gave up the license. Kinda wish we would have held it, but hindsight is 20/20. Any help on the value of these barrels is greatly appreciated.

    Probably in the $250 to $350 range if in 95%+ condition. Generally the more open choke A5 barrels are most wanted so towards the upper end on the IC and Mod and lower on the Full. Although the 3" chamber Full barrel's will appeal to pheasant hunters too. Definitely worth putting up for auction. . .and please let us know when you do.

    I suspect any of the 3" to be $250.00 & up 2&3/4 inch 200 & up If dated be fore Japan made,not that they are better but guys with early guns like early barrels. The B2000 will not bring as much. I believe you will get MUCH MORE here listed separately. Then selling in bulk or selling local. You might be surprised if two or more guys really want one particular one that you have. The older barrels in good shape especially vent rib models are hard to find. Come back here and go to general discussion Forum and give us a heads up on auction numbers when you list if you do so.

    You might want to check the ribs to see if they are factory or after market. I've seen alot of older barrels that were sent out to have the rib applied. There is usually a name stamped into the side of the rib if it was aftermarket. Obviously, the originals will bring more. Good luuck.
