    Midas Frank,

First, may I welcome you to the GB forums. Here we all have something to give & there is always something new to learn.

Savage made many different guns but no M 37451. Lacking discription of action type, barrel length, etc. I will guess you have a Model 23B.

    Bolt action, 25" round barrel
Reciever & barrel are all one piece
    Removable 4 round magazine

Please repost with further info. The more you share, the more accurate our response will be.

Excellent litle guns...I have had many over the years. I would concur that most likely you are looking at a 23B (A and AA were 22 rimfires, the C was 32-20 and the D 22 Hornet) since Savage never made anything else BA in 25-20. Most are drilled and tapped non-factory so if yours is not, the value will be higher, though overall ORIGINAL condition will always be of the utmost importance. An altered example will run 200 or less while a pristine near NIB specimen will garner closer to $600.
