Check out the on-line auctions for a ball-park value. Disregard the pipe dream fantasy asking prices, just the actual selling prices. 0 -
The serial # may be on the bottom of the barrel in front of the forearm. 0 -
Twist off the barrel and look at the front end of the reciever. Depending on the age of the rifle the SN might be stamped there. 0 -
I have one of these also only in 22short. Was my FIL. I've looked for a ser# on it too. I removed the barrel & found A932 on the end of the receiver. Is that the ser#? If it is, how old is it? 0 -

Check fro the serial number on a round plate in back of butt stock where the loading rod goes into the butt stock. The round plate should be attached to the butt stock with screws, not very permanent, but that's where the serial number is on most of those old ones with the thumbwheel rear sight. 0 -
I'll have to dig it out of the safe & check. I cleaned it & took down some notes when we took it out of his house after he went to the "home". He passed away last week & the family needs to make some decisions now. Just looking for some info on the guns. There is one more that is hard to describe. I'll have to take a pic of it. Old single shot that was the wifes great grandfather's. 0 -
It would sell for around $800.
That is, if you can post high quality photos.

The "A" desiginates that it is chambered for .22 short. Usually the number nine would be for 1959, and 32 would be the serial number. Are you sure that there are no other numbers? That's a really low number and seems kinda odd, but that might be possible. The older Brownings sometimes are a real puzzle to figure out. 0
