Holly,
I am so sorry to hear about the death of your father. I know how difficult it is to lose your father, especially in a sudden, unexpected manner.
People like your father, partners in a group of experts such as are giving advice on a public forum such as this one, are rare. Many of us on here are able to give advice in a small way, but the true experts, like your dad, stand out.
People like your dad do this out of goodness and respect for their fellow man. Your dad will be missed here.
Prayers are up for your father. His knowledge and generosity will be missed.

Our lost can never be compared to yours. But be sure to note his free exchange of just a small bit of his vast knowledge has helped unknown numbers of people on this Site. 0 -
Bill's expertise will be sorely missed on this forum, as well as the many others he participated on. His personal knowledge regarding Iver Johnson's was unmatched by any other person. You have our deepest sympathy, in your loss of him. 0 -
Hello Holly,
I am deeply in shock to hear this very sad news. Your father and I corresponded with one another on many occasions many years ago (back before we both joined this forum). He was always a true gentleman, and his unexpected passing leaves a big void in not just your heart, but in the hearts of all of the many people who knew him. My deepest condolences to you and his entire family.
R.I.P. Bill
Edit: I am going to make this a Sticky Topic for a 30-day period so that it does not immediately fade away into the depths of this forum.0 -
I don't believe this news!! Approx. 3 weeks ago he responded to a forum that I was involved with in regard to serial data concerning an Iver Johnson, and an H and R pistol. He was the man for any and all data concerning these firearms. The firearm community will suffer from his loss I assure you. Once again, I am so sorry to hear of this news.[:(] 0 -
Bill was a gentleman of the first order - always willing to help and to share. Men such as he, are never forgotten by those whose lives he touched. God bless his family - Bill will be missed.
