Want to get some(or make)steel targets for outdoor pistol and revolver shooting. For targets at 50 yards, shooting a .357 mag., what steel and thickness. Thanks

  With lead bullets 3/8 mild will work. 3/8 tempered for jacketed bullets. Set them so the angle puts the bullets down to the front.
  If you hang them from chains the movement will put the bullet down front.
