.223 Bullet I.D.

Any one ever see a bullet like this. It came from a friend of mine. Appeared to be some kind of range ammo. Caused some mis feeds.
Brass has a black primer and the brass is marked GFL .223 Remington.
Some of the bullets were pushed clear back into the case. And yes there is a lip around the edge of the bullet.

  GFL is a Fiocchi headstamp.
  I think you have their Tundra Green lead free load.
  I don't know why they made the bullet such an odd shape.

  Looks like a frangible bullet made from compressed copper particles.
