Yugo M 57

Just got a Yugo M 57 Tokarev from SOG. Is it normal when the pistol is empty and your depress the slide relaese forward- the hammer follows the slide almost into position to strike the firing pin- but not quite?

  Shouldn't do that. Hammer should not be affected when either the slide stop is manually released or when slide is pulled back with the mag removed. This is a serious liability issue, contact SOG and send it back for a replacement.
